What was the highlight of Hotel Puerto de Las Nieves
Good hotel, but beware SPA is not included if you book via booking.com
Delicious and varied breakfast. The location is convenient (truth to be said the whole place is a very tiny village). Overall clean.
The room needed a bit of reforming. The curtains were broken, the mattress not rigid at all, and the pillow that was on the bed was not even considerable as a pillow. Luckily there was another one in the wardrobe which served more for the purpose. Another thing I disliked is that when we asked about the spa, the receptionist said that given we placed our booking via booking.com the spa was not included and we had to pay 6 euro per person in order to access it. Thought I had overlooked this detail, but checking again on the hotel page on booking.com this detail is written nowhere, it is only stated there is a SPA amongst the services provided (and everyone would assume included, as usually this is how it works for every amenity on booking.com). Only scanning through other guests' comments I could find that other people went through the same issue. Honestly, I couldn't care less about the spa, but I think overall this is not that fair as a behavior, and booking.com should supervise for such policies issues.

Quaint slightly dated hotel but very comfortable with a large room and large balcony with table, chairs and sunbeds. Very nice breakfast with wide choice and very helpful staff. Very convenient for the port and surrounding area. Wide choice of fish restaurants in the port area. Village of Agaete is very picturesque with cafes and bars.
